Goals for 2020 – ready?

As we prepare to enter a new decade, have you given thought to your goals for 2020? And I am not just talking about careers and jobs. There is more to us than that. In an era where time is our currency, we must not lose sight of our family and friends.

During the festive holidays, most families make the effort to get together and enjoy a meal (more like a King’s feast 😊) and meet up with old friends.  More importantly, people just want to re-connect because we spend most of our year wanting to but never finding the time. And this is true whether you are a scholar or working granny. Life is just busy!

So can we bring about some change in the New Year and new decade? Can we find some balance in making time for ourselves, our family & friends and our careers? Here is a suggestion on how to set your goals for 2020:

Personal goal:  I aim to plan my meals for the week, so that I can eat healthier and save time

Career goal: I know what I job I want- I will find out what skills I still need to develop so that I can qualify for that job

Relationship goal:  I will make sure I visit my family and friends once a month

You know what you want to achieve in 2020, so write your own goals for the things that are important in your life.

All the best for the New Year! I wish you success and happiness.
